	Ascension Shrine This shrine depicts the glorified body of Christ ascending into heaven, represented here by a cut glass circle reminiscent of a monstrance. The two men in white are angels. Surrounding the sphere of light is a flurry of celestial beings eagerly awaiting Christ. The margins, which are gold to represent the liturgical color of this feast, depict ascending vines. 	Christmas Shrine This shrine pictures a stack of brightly wrapped Christmas gifts topped by the most important gift of all, the Incarnate Savior of the world. All the elements in this shrine echo the inscription, seen as strings of cards tacked to a green wooden cabinet. A singing angel hovers over the Holy Family. Joseph stands resting his right hand on Mary’s shoulder in a protective gesture. Seated on a bed of straw, Mary gladly reaches out her hands to us and. Their gifts are of gold, symbolizing wealth to a king; frankincense, for adoration to one divine; and myrrh, emblem of death, used in embalming. Two angels herald them on their journey. 	Wedding at Cana Shrine Commemorating the first of Jesus’ miraculous signs, this shrine depicts the moment during the wedding at Cana when Mary instructs the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” Guests surround the bride and bridegroom, here the Russian Snow Princess and the Nutcracker.
